SPRING FAIR
This year’s Spring Fair is in the playground after school on FRIDAY 15 MAY! Come and join for lots of fun, games, face painting, bric-a-brac, food and drinks! Would you be up for making some cakes or helping on the day? If so, please email us (address above). We will have two non-uniform days in the lead up: Friday 8 May in return for chocolate tombola donations, and Friday 15 May in return for bottle hoopla donations.
RAFFLE
We are very excited to be launching our big annual raffle at the Spring Fair – and already have some AWESOME prizes lined up, including sauna sessions, cinema and comedy tickets, haircuts, escape room experiences, cleaning for your home and camping vouchers! But when it comes to prizes, the more the merrier – so can you help? Do you have a business or work for someone who might be able to donate a prize? If so, please get in touch on the email above!
MR K RAN THE LONDON MARATHON!!!!
Last weekend, while many of us were still drinking coffee in our pyjamas, Fairlight’s very own Mr K was running a whopping 26.2 miles to raise money for the PTA! If you would like to support his INCREDIBLE effort, there are still a few days left to donate to his page (it will close on Sunday 3rd May)…

WE NEED YOUR VOTES
Brighton and Hove City Council have nearly £750,000 to share between community projects – and Fairlight has 3 projects in the running! Residents are voting on the projects they want to see happen, and votes will be taken into account when funds are allocated. Please find our entries using the QR codes on the next page, or search “Fairlight” at: https://yourvoice.brighton-hove.gov.uk/en-GB/projects/better-brighton-hove-fund
Voting closes on 5 May so please cast votes before then and share with family and friends who might also be interested in supporting us!
FROZEN FRIDAYS
The sun is shining and Frozen Fridays are back – whoop whoop! Look out for 50p/£1 ice lollies in the playground every Friday after school!
UNIFORM SALES AND LOST PROPERTY
The next uniform sales are planned for 8th May, 12th June and 10th July, in the playground after school. As usual, lost property is becoming unmanageable, so anything that hasn’t been claimed before the next sale will be added to the sales rack! Please label all jumpers, hoodies, cardigans and bottles. Especially as the weather warms up and children are more likely to take their outer layers off and forget them in the playground!
WE HAVE A NEW VINTED PAGE!
Please give us a follow (fairlightpta)! If you have any high quality items that you would be happy for us to sell, then please pass these to the office. We have extremely limited storage so please only donate a small amount of new or good-as-new items. Anything that doesn’t sell in a reasonable timeframe will be donated to charity or council clothes collection boxes.
