Fairlight Parents and Teachers Association is an organisation for our school community to support the children of Fairlight Primary & Nursery School. All parents, carers and staff are automatically members of the PTA. Welcome! We have a newly formed committee and will be sending a newsletter out each half term to update you on what's going on.

Pre-loved uniform sales
From next week, we will be holding monthly pre-loved school uniform sales. This will help reduce waste and provide opportunities to pick up some bargains! We will plan to be running these on the last Friday of every month. Most items will priced at 50p or £1, and both cash and card payments will be possible. Please come along and have a browse! Details: Friday 24th November 2023, Fairlight Children’s Centre, straight after school pick-up.
Non-uniform day
On Friday 30th November the children can come into school in their own clothes! We would be very grateful for any bottles that could be donated on this day – including soft drinks, bottled toiletries and alcoholic drinks (alcohol must be taken to the office by an adult). These will be used for the bottle hoopla at the Winter Fair.
Help needed!
We have lots of ideas for fun events in the months ahead, but we need your help! At the moment, we are looking for people to help with the Winter Fair. If you can support us on the day with helping to set up, cover a stall, or clear up, then we would love to hear from you! If you are unable to help this time, but would be happy to be asked for help with future events, we would also love for you to get in touch. Our contact details are below!
Winter fair
This will take place on Friday 1st December, straight after school pick-up, in the school playground. We hope to have something for everyone, including a bouncy castle, cakes, stocking-fillers, Santa’s grotto, bottle hoopla and face painting!
Fundraising update
Thank you so much to everyone who donated on Spooky Dress-Up Day. We raised nearly £300 which is a fantastic start to this year's fundraising! Thank you for ordering Christmas cards, this helped to raise a further £292! We asked on Ping what events you wanted: Next term we will be organising discos for the kids and some quiz nights for the parents. Keep an eye on Ping for updates!
